Houston Father Sentenced To 45 Years In Prison For Beating 2 Year Old Son To Death

A Houston father accused of beating his 2 year old son to death has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.
Antonio Hicks Sr. became frustrated with his son Antonio Hicks Jr in 2020 during a potty training session.
Hicks Sr. walked into the restroom and noticed his son smearing feces all over the floor and “snapped”.

The child was rushed to the hospital unresponsive and later succumbed to his injuries.
Emergency staff noticed new and old injuries on the toddler and contacted police.
Hicks Sr was arrested in 2020 for causing bodily injury to a child.
It was later upgraded to Murder once the child died.
