Authorities in Irving, Texas, are looking for a murderer who killed a mother and her daughter on Friday evening.
Just before 9 p.m., at the Park Springs apartment complex on West Irving Boulevard, the shooting took place, officials say.
The victims have been identified as 23-year-old Nayeli Bolanos Medina and her mother 56-year-old Juana Medina Rodriguez.
One of the victims was discovered dead inside the apartment. The other was declared deceased at a medical facility.
Family members say that Medina’s 5-year-old son was in the apartment when the shooting occurred.
Police are searching for 33 year old Hector Matute, who fled the scene. He has a capital murder warrant out for his arrest in relation to the murder. They also haven’t provided details on what led up to the incident.
Now, the consulate of El Salvador in Dallas is assisting the family with funeral plans to bury the mother and daughter in their native country.
