Joshua High School Naval JROTC Precision Rifle Team just got a new state of the art shooting range worth $78,000.
The school took first place in the Navy National Rifle Championship last month and had five students that qualified for the National Junior Olympics.
The new shooting range also uses an electronic system with lasers and it measures the velocity from the millimeter pellets in the air rifles for real times, as opposed to the paper targets.
They also allow others to see the real time on the screen which makes it great for having and hosting competitions.
Joshua and Grandbury ISD are the only schools in Texas to have this system.
