Keller ISD Band Director Arrested For Indecency With A Child

A Keller ISD band director has been arrested and charged with three counts of indecency with a child.
Jedidiah Maus is accused of exposing himself to a student in early September.
The incident allegedly happened on September 10 when Maus exposed himself to a male student while in the restroom.
Staff and officials were notified and an investigation began.
A total of three victims have been identified.
Maus was placed on administrative leave as of September 14.

Keeler ISD released a statement Friday saying:
“ Unfortunately, we must share with you that a Keller Middle School-Bear Creek Intermediate Band Director was arrested today and charged with indecency with a child, following a criminal investigation by the Keller Police Department (KPD). We know this is extremely upsetting, but we wanted to let you know since the local media outlets will most likely report this news soon, and may have done so already.”
