Las Colinas Hotel Drug Bust Turns Up Over 2,000 Grams of Meth Among Numerous Other Narcotics

7 people were arrested last week after law enforcement officers raided two motel rooms in Las Colinas, finding hundreds of thousands of drugs inside.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, an unnamed source informed them of two trap rooms operating out of the Las Colinas motel. The source was then sent to make purchases at both rooms, leading officers with probable cause for a search warrant.

On April 19, officers made entry into the rooms and began arresting the suspects, two of which attempted to flee through the back window but were quickly taken into custody.

Brandon Jones, Jaleel Peterson, Victor Contreras, Glenn Blair, Corey Allen, Derrick Richardson, and Antonie Thompson-Stevens were all arrested and charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances.

In total, 2284 grams of methamphetamine, 1183 grams of marijuana, 198 grams of heroin, 137 grams of cocaine, and 108 grams of fentanyl were seized. Numerous grams of Alprazolam, PCP, THC products, hydrocodone, Omeprazole, Sertraline, psilocybin mushrooms, and morphine were also seized on location, as well as multiple firearms.
