A man is accused of kidnapping, raping and soliciting a teen girl for sex in Richardson.
38 year old Sheldon Evans was indicted Wednesday by a Collin County jury on several child sex charges.
Evans, who is from Atlanta, is said to have met a 16 year old girl from Atlanta back in 2022 and flew her out to Texas. He allegedly picked the girl up from a Dallas airport and took her back to his apartment in Richardson.
Evans allegedly bought the teen provocative clothes and had her refer to him as “daddy or “pimp”.
The teen eventually made contact with her family who contacted police.
Evans was arrested and charged with trafficking of a child, aggravated kidnapping and indecency with a child by sexual contact.
