Dallas police have arrested a man they say shot and killed two people in the parking lot of a strip mall on Park Lane.
The incident occurred on September 10, around 9:34 p.m., when officers responded to a shooting call on the 8400 block of Park Lane.
Upon arrival they found two male victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency crews arrived and pronounced 29 year old Sirmiltons Evans dead at the scene.
The second victim, 35 year old Bobby Lockhart, was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
After reviewing surveillance footage in the area officers saw a male suspect shooting at the victims multiple times and then taking their belongings. He then fled the scene before officers could arrive.
After further investigating officers determined that the shooter was 33 year old Ronald Henry. He was arrested and charged with capital murder.
The motive and circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation.
