27-year-old Jaaron Thomas was apprehended and charged with manslaughter for fatally choking his girlfriend during a sex act.
On Tuesday, just prior to 2:30 a.m., first responders arrived to the scene, in Harris County, Texas. They then discovered a woman who was unconscious. She was transported to a medical facility where she was declared deceased. Thomas disclosed to authorities that the woman was his partner and that they had be engaging in the practice of “erotic asphyxiation,” as they were having intercourse and before she lost consciousness.
Records show that Thomas put pressure on the woman’s neck and throat which caused her to stop breathing.
Thomas was placed in the Harris County Jail, and his bond was set at $40,000.
