Man Charged With The Murder of a Woman Found Dead In A Wildlife Refuge

A man is facing murder charges after he admitted to killing a woman and then dumping her body in a wildlife refuge in Lawton.

On May 17, authorities discovered the body of a woman bludgeoned to death in the Wichita Mountains. Although the woman’s identity has not been released her car was reported missing not to long after her body was discovered.

On May 21, Tevin Semiens was arrested after police located him driving the victims car in Dallas. During questioning Semiens told authorities that his girlfriend, Makayla Logsdon, had asked him to kill her.

Apparently, the two women were related and did not get along. Semiens agreed to kill the woman and told authorities that he beat her with a brick before dumping her body in the wildlife.

Semien was arrested and charged with first degree premeditated murder in connection with the case. He was booked into the Navarro County jail. His girlfriend Logsdon is charged with evading arrest.
