My Tran, a 42-year-old woman from Arlington, Texas, is facing murder charges after authorities say that she killed her husband.
Tran is accused of striking her husband on the head with a hammer subsequent to traveling to his apartment.
She is now being held in the Arlington City Jail after she was apprehended at the location.
Just prior to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, police arrived to a disturbance at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of Sweet Gum Trail. Tran had called authorities to tell them what she had done.
When officers arrived to the scene, they discovered a man, 45, in his room, deceased. He hasn’t been publicly identified. They then learned that Tran had gone to the location to sign divorce papers.
