Dallas police were called to a disturbance/ shooting call on the 9700 block of Rustown Dr.
The incident happened Thursday evening around 8:30pm.
Officers arrived and made contact with a group of men hanging around drinking.
At that time, one of the men began running down a nearby alley.
Officers followed and confronted the man. After he failed to comply with the verbal commands, an officer discharged their weapon.
No one was struck.
The male suspect was then arrested and taken into custody without further incident.
