A Miami 18-year-old mother was arrested after she allegedly tried to hire a hit man to kill her 3-year-old son.
18-year-old Jazmin Paez was arrested on Tuesday evening and charged with soliciting murder and unlawful use of a communications device.
According to Miami-Dade police, Paez went to RentAHitman.com and attempted to pay $3,000 to have her son killed by the end of the week.
Investigators say the owner of the website, which is a spoof, called the police department after seeing the request put in by Paez. The mother sent detailed information about her 3-year-old child and exact location on where he could be found.
Both aspects of the website, the “Service Request Form” and “Careers Form” have led to multiple arrests. In fact, in April of this year, a Tennessee Air National Guardsman was arrested after trying to apply to be a hit man on the site.
Paez’s bond was set at $15,000 and she is ordered to not have any contact with her child at this time.
I hope she never has anymore children or allowed around her son ever again she’s a sicko
