Police arrested multiple people after a man was killed during a shooting at a Florida City Walmart Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, around 3 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at a Walmart located at 33501 S. Dixie Highway.

Once they arrived they found two males suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a local hospital where one of the men died.

The man was later identified as 23 year old Nathaniel Baez.

Apparently there was a huge altercation between two groups of people when someone pulled out a gun and fired multiple rounds.

The bullets struck Baez and an innocent bystander. The bystander was shot in the foot and is expected to survive. There were at least five people injured during the scuffle that were treated for minor injuries on the scene.

Officers said Baez was involved in the altercation and that they arrested one of the suspects at the scene. Four others fled before officers could arrive.

After speaking with witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage officers were able to locate and arrest 3 more individuals, including the shooter.

25 year old Steve Lestin was charged with second degree murder and attempted felony murder. Then 20 year old Roberto Dionandre Acevedo and 21 year old Jimari Castin Hodge were charged with battery.
