Nashville Man Arrested After Stabbing A Couple With A Machete Multiple Times At A Public Storage

A 35 year old man was arrested and charged with attempted murder after he attacked a married couple with a machete in Nashville Sunday afternoon.
According to reports the incident happened at a Public Storage on 5th Ave near Division St when Kelvin Edwards,35 attacked Kevin Craft,55 and his wife Leanne Craft,50 with a machete.
Police said the couple suffered multiple cuts and when officers arrived they had to apply several tourniquets to try to stop the bleeding.
The couple was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
Edwards apparently told authorities that he was upset about the COVID-19 lockdown and not being able to get into any Rescue Mission homes because was homeless and wanted to show his anger by cutting random people.
After the altercation Edwards walked out the Public Storage, threw the machete on the ground and walked towards the street with his hands in the air for officers to arrest him.
