A 325 pound Florida woman has been charged with killing her 9 year old cousin by sitting on her for punishment. 
Reports say Dericka Lindsay,9 was having problems with her behavior and her mother Grace Joan Smith,69 called her niece Veronica Green, 64 over to help her punish her daughter. Green came over and hit the girl with a ruler and metal pipe before she ran to an armchair to get away. During the punishment Green reportedly sat on the 74 pound 3 foot girl for 10 minutes. The girl told then she could not breathe but Green did not move right then. She said she sat there for 2 more minutes when she realized the girl was unconscious and that’s when Green rose up and called the authorities and when they arrived she as rushed to a nearby hospital where she later died.
The cousin was arrested and charged with a bond of $125,000 and the parents were arrested for child neglect because it was unclear if they tried to help and the mother was 75,000 and fathers bond is $50,000 in Escambia County jail.
