Dallas police are investigating an officer involved shooting that happened Thursday morning at Big T Bazaar.
Officers attempted to arrested a male suspect on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon warrant and a parole violation on the 4500 block of Village Fair Dr.
Upon arrival the suspect furnished a handgun and opened fire striking an unmarked police vehicle. An officer also fired back but did not strike the suspect.
The suspect was arrested without injury and no officers were hurt.
