A person is dead after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning.
On May 4, around 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Great Trinity Forest Way and Bonnie View Road.
Apparently the pedestrian was crossing the street when they were struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Great Trinity Forest Way. Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The driver stopped to render aid and is cooperating with authorities. No charges have been filed.
