Pizza Hut Closing Up To 300 Locations

Pizza Hut will be closing up to 300 of their locations following a bankruptcy of their largest franchisee.
NPC International announced an agreement Monday with Pizza Hut’s owner Yum Brand that they will close a quarter of their dine in locations and sell the other 927 locations.
No specific locations or dates have been given for when the restaurants will close.
In a statement released the company said, “We have continued to work with NPC and its lenders to optimize NPC’s Pizza Hut restaurant footprint and strengthen the portfolio for the future, and today’s joint agreement to close up to 300 NPC Pizza Hut restaurants is an important step toward a healthier business.”
