Police Look For Suspect Who Robbed Bank With A Brick

Authorities say that a man used a brick to threaten employees during a bank robbery in Northwest D.C.

Camera footage shows what is thought to be a man with a black ski mask on, a purple hoodie, and gray sweatpants. He had entered the bank on Tuesday afternoon in the 1900 block of 8th Street Northwest.

The suspect placed a brick on the counter where the bank employee was standing prior to scripting a note on a sheet of paper to show her.

They added that the teller gave the robber $500 although her demanded $50,000.

Subsequent to leaving the bank with the funds, the suspect was observed walking in the northwest direction.

Authorities are still looking for the suspect.
