19-year-old Zaiylah Bronson’s body was discovered in the trunk of a vehicle in Wichita, Kansas. She was pregnant and looking forward to spending her second year as a student at WSU.
Now, 22-year-old Alexander Lewis, her boyfriend, has been arrested for choking Bronson to death and placing her body in the trunk of his vehicle.
Reports indicate that Bronson, who was found dead on Saturday, was 16 and a half weeks pregnant, and had just recently found out she was having a boy.
Bronson’s mother noted that her daughter always had a smile on her face and never showed signs that she would become a victim of domestic violence.
Lewis has been charged with second-degree murder, more than one person and is in custody at the Sedgwick County Jail. His bond was set at $500,000.
Lewis is set to appear in court again on September 15.
An investigation is continuing.
He shouldn’t be allowed to see daylight again.
