Rapper Fetty Wap Apprehended For Federal Drug Offenses

On Thursday evening, the FBI apprehended rapper Fetty Wap on federal drug charges.

The rapper, whose real name is Willie Junior Maxwell II was taken into custody at Citi Field in Queens, New York.

He was one of six people to be charged.

This isn’t Fetty Wap’s first run in with the law. In 2017, he was charged with a DUI after drag racing another vehicle on a highway in New York City. Additionally, in 2019, he was arrested on three counts of battery.

Fetty Wap is most noted for his 2014 hit, “Trap Queen.”
