Rubber Pregnant Belly Filled With Drugs Falls During Traffic Stop

813views

A South Carolina couple was arrested after 1,500 grams of cocaine fell out of a fake pregnancy belly made of rubber.

Authorities with the Special Investigation Division and Directed Patrol Unit were conducting “proactive patrol” on April 12. During this time, officers conducted a traffic stop and encountered Anthony Miller and Cemeka Mitchem.

Mitchem, who was noticeably “pregnant”, gave officers a different answer than Miller did when asked about the baby’s date. This raised suspicion and with the pressure rising, Mitchem attempted to bail on foot and flee the scene.

At this time, a rubber belly loaded with drugs fell out in front of officers.

A total of 1,500 grams of cocaine were collected during the traffic stop and the two were subsequently arrested.

Mitchem and Miller are facing charges for trafficking over 400 grams of cocaine. They remain in Anderson County Jail with no bond.
