Shooting In Garland Left One Person Dead

Garland police are investigating a shooting near a business that left a man dead Thursday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting near Saturn Rd and W. Kingsley Rd and when they arrived they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where they died from their injuries.
According to officers they believe the victim and suspect got into some sort of argument over drugs when the suspect shot the victim and fled the scene before officers could arrive.
This investigation is ongoing.
