A man was shot and killed early Tuesday morning inside a West Dallas apartment.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 2400 block of Bickers St at The Hamptons at Lake West apartments.
Upon arrival they located a man in his 30’s suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper leg.
He was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.
According to reports the man was sleeping in the bed with a woman and baby when an unknown suspect opened fire on the apartment shooting multiple rounds.
The victim was struck by a bullet that pierced the window. The woman and infant were unharmed.
No suspects have been arrested at this time.
This shooting investigation remains ongoing.
