State Troopers Arrest BBL Patient Attempting to Smuggle More than 400k Worth of Illegal Substance

On March 31, 2023, Hernando State Trooper observed a Toyota Sienna driving dangerously close to other cars and speeding. The trooper activated his lights to initiate a traffic stop, which caused the driver to pull over.
There were two individuals traveling together, the driver initially told troopers, they were returning from Atlanta because the passenger had undergone a cosmetic procedure called a BBL but changed her story multiple times. She eventually admitted to transporting more than 400 LBS of an illegal substance. Both the driver and passenger were apprehended without incident.
