Teacher Under Investigation After Using School Email To Send Lewd Photos Of Herself To Craigslist
A New York teacher is under investigation after she allegedly used her school email address to look for sexual hookups on Craigslist.
According to reports, Mercedes “Mercy” Liriano was caught sending lewd photos and requesting sexual favors using her school email address.
The 50 year old teacher sent the emails back in 2016 and 2017 asking questions like have you ever had a threesome? She also sent nude photos of herself to men asking if they were interested.
Liriano made headlines in 2019 after acting principal Patricia Catania allegedly told her she could not teach black history.
Catania said in a disposition that she told Liriano she could teach black history as long as she had a lesson plan.
Liriano became very irate and tried to get Catania demoted from her position.
While in a legal battle the inappropriate emails were discovered in January of 2021. In September of 2021 Lariano put in her resignation.
It was said that she is currently working at a school in Georgia.
