Teenager Dies After Being Fatally Shot By His Twin Brother


A Teenager is facing a murder charge after shooting and killing his twin brother in a city outside of Atlanta, Georgia.

On August 22, Xavier Hayes, 17, and Dimitri Hayes, 17, were at their home playing with a gun in their bedroom around 3:30 a.m. The two boys didn’t notice the gun was loaded and it was accidentally fired hitting Dimitri in the face, killing him.

Xavier was arrested and charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of pistol or revolver by a person under 18 years old. He is currently at DeKalb County jail.

Police did not say what led to filing a murder charge.
