Texas 5-Year-Old Slammed To The Ground And Punched By Man During Crawfish Boil

On February 26, a mother in League City, Texas, stated that she attended a crawfish boil at a friend’s residence. Then, all of a sudden, her son ran into the home crying.

The boy told his mother that a man had slammed him on the ground and punched him.

Now, 5-year-old Hayden has wounds and has suffered mental distress. The mother says it was caused by a man in his 60s who was at the party, as well.

Hayden’s mother wants to ensure that a ticket from the League City Police Department results in serious charges against the man.

Kelsey Holt, the child’s mother, stated that the man seemed to be drunk. He told her that her son had struck him in the head with a basketball and that he didn’t feel bad for his actions. He added that he would do it again to any child who hit him.

A citation was issued to the man for assault, but he won’t be named until he is apprehended. Authorities are also teaming up with Child Advocacy Center in Galveston to perform interviews and figure out if more charges, such as injury to a child, could follow.
