Three 11 Year-Olds Apprehended For Planning To Set School Ablaze

Three 11 year-olds were apprehended for planning to burn down their middle school in Florida. One of the children told authorities that they wanted rude people to die in the fire.  They even chose who would live and who would survive.

Omnia Mahgoub, Tristan Carrasquillo, and Isabella Brainard, all 11, were handcuffed and lead out of Fort Meyers School. This came after another group of students heard them discussing their plans. A student also saw Mahgoub take out a grill lighter from her backpack.

Authorities were then notified. When investigating, they learned that the suspects were going to set the second-floor bathroom on fire. One of them was going to run downstairs at 2:30, pretend to cry while reporting the fire, and allow certain people an advantage to leave out. Another one was responsible for locating extra paper to keep the fire going.

They all face charges of conspiracy to commit a first-degree felony; however, they are still being treated as juveniles.
