On Friday, social media personality, Demaury Mikula, 18, was apprehended by authorities subsequent to running a red light. He also drove more than 100 miles per hour as he led the Florida Highway Patrol on a high-speed pursuit.
Mikula began to do a “burnout” and smoking the wheels of a Dodge Challenger next to a patrol car.
Mikula, who says that he earns between $400,000 and $500,000 on social media, drove to a residential neighborhood as police lights flashed and sirens blared.
After identifying Mikula as the driver, a trooper went to his home and arrested him. He informed authorities that his Charger was in the garage and let them tow it.
Mikula told police that he is young, has alot of money, a fast vehicle, and can do what he pleases. He allegedly told them that what he did was dumb but wanted to do something exciting.
Mikula was taken to the Pasco County Jail without incident.
