Twin Brothers Named Valedictorian, Salutatorian Of Their Senior Class

1.8kviews

High School seniors, Mykel and Markel Rainey, are twin brothers that are making big moves.

Mykel will be graduating from Randolph-Clay High School, in Cuthbert, GA, where he is the valedictorian for that 2023 graduating class. Too add, Markel has been named the salutatorian.

“Last year, we  participated in graduation as honor students. And that’s when it really came to fruition that we could be this. So, we started thinking of the possibilities like, what if?” Mykel Rainey stated.

The twins were given the title valedictorian and salutatorian by keeping an A/B grade on the honor roll and a grade point average of at least a 3.5.

“You know, boys tend to stray away and be hard and difficult, but I didn’t get that from them. If they had issues or doubt, I pushed them, and they did so. Surprised but not surprised,” their mother noted.

In the fall, the twins plan to attend Savannah State University.
