As of Monday the UIL state executive committee ruled that Duncanville’s boys basketball team must forfeit all 2021-2022 games due to having an ineligible player.

The team must also forfeit all postgames as well as the 6A state championship game, in which Duncanville won with player Anthony Black. Black was a 5 star recruit from Coppell last summer.

Duncanville’s team received a three year probation along with a public reprimand. Coach David Perry was also suspended for a year.

Duncanville also banned the girls basketball team from the playoffs for a season and suspended coach LeJeanna Howard for the remaining school year due to recruiting violations.
