A nationwide Amber Alert was issued earlier this week for 6 week old Shamali Flores in Houston Tx, who has since been found. 
The baby was initially kidnapped and thought to have been taken by the father who allegedly had stabbed the mother to death. Reports are now showing that the Baby was kidnapped by a woman by the name of Erica Miranda Alvarez,28 who claims she kidnapped the baby to cover up a miscarriage.
The suspect claimed she knew the victim through her brother and killed the victim because she had a miscarriage and kidnapped the baby to try and cover it up.
Alvarez has since been found and arrested by Houston police outside of an apartment complex. 
The baby was found safe and has been taken to Texas Chidrens Hospital listed in good health. She is now in Texas Child Protective Services.
The father was located and questioned in San Antonio and cleared of all allegations.
Alvarez has been charged with capital murder.
