Capital Murder – 3000 Bickers Street
On January 16, 2024, at about 7:35 PM, officers responded to a shooting call in the 3000 block of Bickers Street.
The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found two male victims shot inside a sedan. DFR responded, and the victims died at the scene.
Further investigation determined the victims were meeting with the suspect.
The suspect was later located at a local hospital where he is being treated. The suspect is in custody, and charges are pending.
The victims are not being identified at this time, pending next of kin notification.
This investigation is ongoing.
