Update Video: 3 People Shot; Shooting at the Lancaster Movie Theater in Lancaster, Texas
Lancaster, TX – On November 11, 2023 at 8:46 P.M., Lancaster police officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of West Pleasant Run Road, on a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival officers located one male victim who sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. The male victim was transported to a local hospital by Lancaster Fire/EMS. Officers were informed by E911 that there was a second victim who self-transported to Crescent Regional Hospital. As officers continued the investigation E911 notified officers that a third victim left the scene, went to his home in DeSoto, called 911 and was transported to Methodist Dallas Medical Center by DeSoto Fire/EMS. Multiple agencies responded to the scene including, DeSoto, Glenn Heights, Red Oak and Waxahachie.
The victim’s identity (two juveniles and one adult) is not being released at this time and none were Lancaster residents. All three victims are expected to make a full recovery from their injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation and there has been no arrest at this time.
