Authorities in Rowlett, Texas, are searching for two men who conducted an armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery of individuals in a Walmart parking lot.

The incidences occurred on two different days in two different cars last week.

The first victim was said to have been putting groceries in his car when the suspects walked up and pointed a gun at him. The victim’s wallet was then taken.

A recording from the victim’s dash cam at about 8:54 p.m. on November, 7, 2023, revealed what happened.

Eight minutes after the occurrence, the victim’s credit card had been used in Rowlett and Garland.

Authorities say that the suspects left Rowlett in a stolen black Hyundai Elantra. The vehicle was later found in Oak Cliff.

There is also a recording of the two suspects and a woman inside the Walmart prior to the robbery. They had been shopping for about an hour before leaving out and walking up to the victim.

The other incident occurred two days after that. Another victim was loading up their car when he was approached by the suspects. This time, the suspects had been in another stolen Hyundai taken from Desoto.

Authorities are now searching for that red Hyundai Sonata with license plate SW0384.

A note taunting police was found in the vehicle used in the first robbery. On the dashboard screen, it read, “We had fun.”

Although police from another city pursued the suspects, they were able to get away after traveling up to 100 miles per hour.

On the ceiling of that recovered car they wrote, “3 police chase, rly.”

Rowlett police are now urging anyone with information on the suspects in the recording to call 972-412-6250.
