An investigation is underway after a fight at Nimitz High School in Irving broke out and officers were accused of using excessive force.
The incident occurred on September 21 when a fight broke out in the lunch line amongst several students.
Irving School Resource Officers responded to the fight and immediately began to break up the disturbance and separate the students.
While doing so it was said that Irving officers used excessive force while breaking up the fight.
The Irving PD are reviewing the videos shared to social media and have also started their own internal investigation.
They have also spoken with Irving ISD and communicated with one of the family members involved in the incident.
One of the officers involved has been reassigned pending the outcome of the investigation.
