Video: OKC Officer Viciously Attacked By Male Suspect, His Bond Is Set At $10 Million

A man is behind bars after violently attacking an OKC police officer.

The incident occurred on a Thursday, around 5:30 am, at an apartment complex on N.W. 16th and Ann Arbor.

A female officer was first on scene to respond to a domestic disturbance call when she was viciously attacked by the suspect, 26 year old Deangelo Wright.

Video footage shows the officer attempting to search Wright for weapons. It then shows him choking and repeatedly punching her in the face causing her to go unconscious.

Wright fled the scene before other officers could arrive and was later arrested at a nearby apartment complex laundry room on the 2200 block of N. Meridian.

He was taken into custody and charged with several counts of aggravated assault and battery on a public servant and domestic violence by strangulation. His bond is set at $10,000,000.
