On Saturday, October 5, 2019 at approximately 11:20 am, Duncanville Police responded to the Bella Ruscello Apartments located at 250 E. Highway 67 to investigate a report of an unconscious person inside an apartment. 
Upon arrival, responding officers discovered a deceased female inside the apartment.
The victim died of an apparent gunshot wound.
Investigators are identifying potential witnesses and family members to be interviewed. 
There is no suspect information currently. The investigation is ongoing and no other information will be released at this time.
