Woman Shot And Killed In Arlington Apartment Complex

A woman was shot and killed early Saturday morning in an Arlington apartment complex.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 2500 block of Forest Point Drive and when they arrived they found a woman in her 20’s suffering from a gunshot wound.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Officers originally arrested a man they believe to have been in a relationship with the woman. The statements he gave authorities shows that the man may have handled a gun improper and caused the shooting.
After questioning the man was released.
The case will be turned over to a Tarrant County Grand Jury.
The woman’s identity has not been released at this time.
