Woman’s Deceased Body Found Wrapped In Tarp After Going Missing 18 Years Ago

The remains of Cynthia “Linda” Alonzo have been discovered in Northern California years after her boyfriend confessed to killing her.

In 2004, Alonzo had gone missing. A crew was working at a Oakland Army base when they found Alonzo’s body wrapped in tarps, on May 4, 2022.

Alonzo hadn’t been seen since she entered a car driven by her boyfriend, Eric Mora. The two had been getting ready to go to her mother’s home for Thanksgiving dinner in San Francisco.

The case quickly went from a missing person to a murder investigation with Mora being the prime suspect. In 2012, Mora was convicted of murder, but the conviction was later overturned in an appellate court.

In 2016, the case was called to trial again. Then, Mora is said to have admitted to killing Alonzo and telling authorities where her body was stashed. However, police weren’t able to locate her, until now.

According to the Alameda County DA’s office, Mora received an 11-year prison sentence.

“We are relieved to have finally found Linda, so the family can have a proper burial,” stated Deputy District Attorney Danielle London.

  1. I was curious if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your
site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content
so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images.
Maybe you could space it out better?
