On Sunday morning, at around 6 AM, 22-year-old Waid Robison was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 80 near FM 460 in Forney. Following the crash, Robison fled the scene on foot. The next day, authorities formally recognized this incident as a missing persons case. His personal cell phone has since been recovered.
The Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, Texas Game Warden, Kaufman County Constable’s Office, and private search organizations are continuing their efforts to locate him. The incident is currently under investigation.
