12-Year-Old Girl Faces Felony Charges After 11-Year-Old Gets Burned With Acid During Playground Fight
A 12-year-old girl is facing felony charges after a playground fight led to an 11-year-old victim getting burned with acid.
A Wayne County Prosecutor filed the charges against the 12-year-old for the attack at the Detroit playground on July 9th.
The 11-year-year old, Deaira Summers, and her family say that there was an altercation between Deaira’s cousin and another girl at the playground. According to Deaira’s grandmother, the suspect’s mother left and returned with acid.
The details aren’t specific at this time, however, Deaira sustained second and third-degree burns from the acid and was hospitalized for 4 days.
The 12-year-old is now charged with Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm and Felonious Assault. Her next court date is Tuesday, July 18.
The mother should be charged !!!
What is really going on these days this world is so CRUEL and CORRUPT and these children are just as worse thinking bcause of their age it don’t apply to them well give them ADULT TIME!!! Since they acted so Adult when they committed the CRIME. Totally UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!
Her mother needs to be charged as well!!!
