13 Year-Old Shot By Police In California

A 13 year-old falsely said that he killed three people and fired a gun. He was then shot and injured by police at a California cemetery on Thursday.

The boy had called police and stated,”If they don’t kill me, I’ll have to kill them.” He was seemingly talking about the officers who would be responding to the location.

When officers were about to verbally contact the boy and attempt to get him to surrender, he fired one shot.

At the cemetery, officers found the boy with a loaded handgun and an extended magazine. They ordered him to drop his weapon. When he refused, he was shot. He was taken to a medical facility and is recovering.

After an investigation, it was determined that the boy hadn’t shot anyone. However, officers discovered two handguns, four more additional loaded magazines, and alot of ammunition.

A motive is still unknown.
