Dallas police are investigating the shooting death of a 14 year old male.
On May 27, around 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a welfare check call on the 4900 block of Mark Trail Way.
When officers arrived they found a 14 year old male laying on the ground in the breezeway. Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived and pronounced the teen dead at the scene. It was later determined that he had been shot.
Officers have no suspect description at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
