Alicia Navarro, who went missing over three years ago when she was 14 years old, recently reported to a police station in Montana.

On September 15, 2019, Navarro disappeared from her home in Glendale, Arizona. The now 18-year-old had gone to a police station close to the Canadian border to say that she was the girl who had vanished.

Her vanishing began as a runaway, but investigators are reviewing the matter. Other information, like how she got to Montana, isn’t known. However, authorities say that all signs indicate that she left her residence willfully. Police are now focusing on why she left the residence.

When Navarro arrived at the police station, she was by herself, and she also spoke to authorities by herself. Additionally, she requested that her name be removed from the missing juvenile list.

Authorities say Navarro won’t be facing any charges.

Navarro’s disappearance started a massive search that included the FBI and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Throughout the years, officials have received thousands of tips.

Reports indicate that Navarro was reconnected with her mother during an emotional time, but it is unclear how they reconnected.

Authorities added that Navarro apologized for what she has put her mother through, stating that she didn’t mean to and wants to move forward with her life.

Navarro and her relatives have requested privacy at this time.
