Police were called out to the 4900 block of Lomax Dr Thursday morning because of a shooting and when they arrived they found Felipe Hernandez,17 lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. 
He was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died due to his injuries. Witnesses say they saw three black young men running eastbound towards Skyline after the shooting.
Officers ask anyone with information regarding the shooting to notify police or call CRIME STOPPERS 214-373-8477.
