Lewisville Mother Dead In Attempted Murder Suicide

A Lewisville Mother is deceased after her children’s father allegedly broke in her home shot and killed her before shooting himself.
According to reports Lewisville police responded to a shooting at the 100 block of FM 3040. When they arrived they found three children that told them their father shot and killed their mother and shot himself.
The man was transported to Medical City Lewisville by paramedics in critical condition. The mother was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are investigating the shooting and we will update as the story evolves.
