A 2 year old was found dead in the backseat of her mothers SUV at a Madison county daycare. The mother alleges she forgot to drop the toddler off at daycare. It was after the little girls mother showed up to the Little Footprint Learning Center in Gluckstadt, Mississippi that afternoon that she was informed she never dropped the toddler off. According to Sheriff Randy Tucker, the mother told officials that once the daycare informed her that she hadn’t dropped her off that she then ran back to her SUV where she discovered the child in the backseat unresponsive. The child was pronounced dead on the scene and right now no charges have been filed against the mother. The case is still under investigation but they are calling it a tragic accident for now.
