On Saturday, 25-year-old Rudolph “Rudy” Farias IV, of Texas, was found after going missing eight years ago.
He is now recovering in a medical facility.
Farias hadn’t been seen since March 6, 2015. He had been enrolled at Pasadena High School, located in a Houston suburb, and was walking his dog when he was last seen.
The dog had been found, but Farias had not.
It isn’t known what details surrounded his disappearance, how he was located, or why he was in the hospital.
Following him going missing, authorities had stated that Farias had been experiencing depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety. It was reported that he hadn’t been taking his medication.
Farias had also been experiencing the effects of asthma as his inhaler had been found after he disappeared.
Additionally, relatives reported that Farias had been depressed since his brother had died in a motorcycle accident.
When he went missing, police stated that they didn’t believe any foul play was involved.
Thank God he is home and safe
